Welcome to BUJI's new home page!

It only took me about a year after taking down the old page to finally get around to putting a new one up, but I think I've found myself with a good vision to work from finally.

I'll be updating this front page as I continue to refine the content of the site, so look back here for updates!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION
(All good sites should be continually under construction, but I thought I'd make it official! Would you rather I put a cheesy animation of a working sign with a little guy shoveling something??)

 

What's on this website?
 

I've put examples of some of my favorite artwork, music, and recipies here. Everything except for the actual photographs are original creations by me. The artwork, html, music, you name it.

 

What's with all these Stupid icons? How do I get anywhere on this site??
 

All right, so I've created my site with a little bit of artistic flair, as opposed to making it simple I decided to get my viewers to try and comprehend they way I create. I try to stay away from labels. It may be a little bit bewildering at first, but I've listed some of the basics here:

The site is separated into three main sections: URTH, WIND, FIRE. There is also the HOME section, which consists of this page which you are reading now. I have found that things in my life happen in threes, and I feel there is an undervalued symmetry in 3.

URTH: 
Here you will find my recipies, and some recipies that aren't of my creation which I use on a regular basis here. From the Earth we grow our food, and the food of the animals we eat. The earth sustains us and provides us with a place to draw nutrients. 

WIND:
Here I have posted my artistic creations. My artwork and music are no more tangible than the air is. Images and sounds, like dreams, are almost imperceptible, yet given the right opportunity can weather mountains. These are my dreams made conscious.

FIRE:
Within us all burns the fire of life, and here I have put information about me and what drives me. You can find photos, stories, and other information all about my life as it has occurred so far.

On the left-hand side you can see the three coloured access points for the three main portions of the site. Conversely, as you enter each main area, the logo at the top of the page will change color.

Clicking on each of this will take you to the top of the section you are in.

Also, you will notice the Kanji symbol for 'BUJI' on the left-hand side as well. You can click here to send me email. You can find out more about the Japanese etymology of the word BUJI in my FIRE section.

We live in  a wild, tumultuous world. Make the best of it and experience as much as you can. Some things are good, and some things are bad. If they weren't, it would be boring and a waste of your time. Never forget that you need love to live, and you should live to love.
